27th Organizational Conference of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Held in Barasat

On Saturday, the 27th organizational election meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, North 24 Parganas district, was held at Vidyasagar Seva Kaksha, Barasat Municipality. The program outlined the organizational roadmap for 2025.

The event was graced by the President of Jamiat’s West Bengal unit and State Library Minister, Maulana Siddiqullah Chowdhury, along with State Secretary Mufti Abdus Salam, Barasat Hospital Superintendent Dr. Subrata Mondal, and other dignitaries.

In his address, Maulana Siddiqullah Chowdhury noted, “Our membership has grown from 1 million to 1.6 million. Jamiat remains committed to ensuring peace, security, and harmony in the nation, while upholding moral values and fostering communal unity.”

Special guest Dr. Subrata Mondal emphasized health awareness and urged organizers to stand closer to people’s needs. State Secretary Mufti Abdus Salam highlighted Jamiat’s historic contributions to India’s independence movement and its patriotic legacy.

At the session, Maulana Nazrul Islam was re-elected as President of the district unit, while Qazi Arif Reza was elected as Secretary.
