Ayatollah Imam Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, described the life of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) as a perfect model of establishing Islamic ethics and values in society. According to him, the Prophet infused morality, faith, and discipline into people’s lives, making ethical virtues the foundation of a dignified community.
He highlighted the Prophet’s balance between gentleness and firmness: merciful in his dealings with people but uncompromising in enforcing justice and law. His life reflected trustworthiness, patience, magnanimity, honesty, cleanliness, compassion, humility, worship, governance, and even exemplary conduct towards enemies—sometimes forgiving them, and at other times taking strict action when society’s safety was at risk.
Imam Khamenei emphasized that the Prophet’s character remains a timeless guide, showing that humanity will always need ethical values such as kindness, patience, honesty, and justice, regardless of material progress.
