Voting was held on Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm. Although the counting was supposed to be conducted through the OMR system, objections from several panels have led to manual counting instead. As a result, the announcement of results has been delayed.Teachers involved in the election have said that all hall union results are likely to be finalized by noon. After that, the counting for the central union will begin. However, due to the manual process, the central union results may not be available until after evening.Meanwhile, the election process has been overshadowed by grief as one polling officer fell ill and passed away during the long counting process.
