Messenger of Humanity’s Liberation M. Mahbul Haque
He came—
Piercing through an endless darkness, he kindled an eternal light in the sky of humanity,
where hunger gained the right to break its chains,
the helpless found refuge in justice,
and woman—
for the very first time, was crowned with the dignity of honor.
His footsteps bled with sacrifice,
the trumpet of humiliation echoed against his voice,
yet in return he taught—
that forgiveness is higher than vengeance,
love is more enduring than hatred,
and the lamp of truth never dies in the storm of oppression.
Though he endured hunger,
he satisfied the hunger of the starving.
Though he was deprived,
he wiped away the tears of the deprived.
Every word that flowed from his voice—
was a proclamation of liberation in the history of human civilization,
an echo of justice eternal.
O Prophet of Humanity—
even today we utter your name
with streams of salam and darood,
so that every heart may realize—
you are not the pride of one religion alone,
you are the eternal star of all humanity.
