Siratun Nabi (SAW) Celebration Begins at Khoshdelpur High Madrasah

Ashoknagar: The annual Siratun Nabi (SAW) celebration commenced at Khoshdelpur High Madrasah in the Ashoknagar area with due respect and religious solemnity. The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by the Headmaster, Abdur Rouf Dofadar.

This was followed by soulful Naat recitations in praise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) by Dilip Das and Arun Dutta, conveying a powerful message of communal harmony and brotherhood.

On the first day, students actively participated in various competitions including Quran recitation, Ghazal, quiz, speech, and Mukalama (dialogue-based) events. Meritorious students were also felicitated with academic awards.

Addressing the gathering, Headmaster Abdur Rouf Dofadar stated, “Siratun Nabi (SAW) is not merely about remembrance; it teaches us to implement the highest ideals of humanity in every aspect of life.”
Assistant Headmaster Parvez Chowdhury added that such competitions help develop students’ talent, confidence, and discipline.

Managing Committee President Habib Sahaji remarked that such events strengthen social harmony and promote unity among communities.

The programme was smoothly conducted by teachers Siyamat Ali and Faruk Mallik. At the conclusion, winners of various competitions were awarded prizes and certificates.

Among those present were Dona Mitra, Sahani Sultana, Raju Pal, Shipra Halder, Sangita Majumder, Shamim Newaz, Biplab Biswas, and other dignitaries.
