Spanish Prime Minister announces nine crucial steps to stop the massacre in Gaza

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced on Monday nine steps aimed at stopping the ongoing massacre in the war-torn Gaza region of the Middle East.

He stated that what Israel is doing is not for self-defense but is rather a deliberate attempt to annihilate an innocent population. Since 2023, Spain has effectively continued its ban on exporting weapons to Israel.

He further declared that those directly involved in massacres, human rights violations, and war crimes in Gaza will not be allowed entry into Spain.

Among other measures, Spain will not import any goods from illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza. Spain has also announced restrictions against limiting the rights of Palestinian residents.

Additionally, Spain will strengthen its presence and, in cooperation with the Palestinian Authority, launch new projects for the supply of food and medicine.

Along with a proposal to increase aid by an additional 10 million euros for the helpless people of Gaza, Prime Minister Sánchez confirmed that Spain will provide 150 million euros in humanitarian assistance to Gaza by 2026.
