The Unstoppable March of Truth
The arrogance of ignorant people knows no end; they seek to imprison and punish the very force that created them.
“I am accused of rebellion! That is why I stand accused at the royal gates and imprisoned in the king’s prison.
On one side, the king with his scepter; on the other, truth holding the scepter of justice. The king rules through his appointed officials, but I am that king, the king of all kings, the judge of all judges, the eternal truth, and the awakened God.
My judge is not appointed by anyone. This great judge sees all—king and commoner, rich and poor, happy and sorrowful—as equals. On his throne, the king’s crown and the beggar’s ektara sit side by side. His law is one of justice and religion. It is not created by any victorious human for any defeated nation; rather, it is born out of universal realization and is the law of the omnipotent God.
If the king governs the smallest fragment of creation, I stand as the infinite Creator. The difference between the king and me is simple—his goal is self-interest, profit; mine is truth and divine bliss.
The king’s words are but bubbles, whereas mine are boundless like the ocean. I am the poet through whose voice God responds. My words may be considered rebellious by the king, but in the light of religion, they remain pure, innocent, and eternal.
I may die, the king may die, but the expression of truth will never be silenced. Its voice will persist forever, and it will rise anew through others. Anyone who speaks against tyranny or injustice is never a rebel in the eyes of truth. I have rebelled not against the king, but against injustice.
The judge knows that what I have said is not a crime in God’s eyes. But he may punish me because he is loyal to the king. His judgment, however, is irrelevant. Who will the judge answer to? The king or the truth?
"The judge’s judgment is not of the king, but must be of God."
