Voluntary Blood Donation and Health Camp Organized by Millat Welfare Foundation at South Kazipara, Barasat

A Voluntary Blood Donation and Health Camp was successfully organized at South Kazipara under Barasat Municipality, North 24 Parganas, under the initiative of the Millat Welfare Foundation. The programme aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local community through charitable medical support.

A homeopathic charitable clinic, operated by three qualified doctors, provided free medical treatment to nearly 300 people during the camp. Alongside the medical services, a voluntary blood donation camp and a free eye check-up camp were also conducted. A total of 50 male and female donors voluntarily donated blood. Additionally, eye examinations were conducted for 59 underprivileged patients, and blood sugar tests were carried out for 40 individuals.

The event was attended by Tapas Dasgupta, Vice Chairman of Barasat Municipality; Shamsun Nahar, Councillor of Ward No. 18, South Kazipara; Mariam Masud Kazi, Councillor of Ward No. 1; Alhaj Dr. Firoz Uddin, Secretary of Chandpur Alia Academy and Chairman of the West Bengal Progressive Minority Council; Mufti Abdus Salam, State Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind; Dr. Abdul Halim, along with other distinguished personalities.

The programme was supervised by Abdur Razzak, Secretary of the Millat Welfare Foundation, and presided over by its President Md. Zain-ul Abedin. The event was efficiently conducted by local anchor Md. Abdul Halim.
